DocumentsEstablished in 1979, Tech-Set Limited are mathematical, technical, general typesetting and page make-up specialists based in the North East of England and serving the publishing industry world-wide. All academic subjects are coveted by the company in both mono, spot or full colour.

Our current customer base includes many of the major academic publishers, most of whom have been associated with the company for some considerable time.

typesettingWith a background in typesetting stretching back well over 35 years each, John Joyce and Bill Baty readily accept that the technological advances in our industry have seen it change significantly. Tech-Set Limited have kept up with these changes; so much so that our service now includes not only experienced typesetting and make-up of full electronic pages in a variety of software packages, but also full drawing and scanning facilities, together with mono- and colour-proofing and a full and comprehensive archive service. To enhance our services we now offer a full Project Management facility so that work can be handled from original manuscript through to final output – all controlled and coordinated by Tech-Set and produced under the highest standards of quality and service.

papersThe completed work can be supplied in either Certified PDFx format or as Application Files, following any guidelines the customer may have. We also produce CD and Web-based material as an added service to the titles we originate, including use of Microsoft Word. Experience, service and a sound knowledge of origination are what we pride ourselves in for both existing or any new customers.
